Grape and grain converge in this sophisticated libation, another successful collaboration between Big Rock Brewmaster Paul Gautreau and Therapy Vineyards and Guesthouse, located on the Naramata Bench in British Columbia. Legend tells of a Belgian brewer who, in one magical moment, blended the sweet snap of grape with a lively young ale to create the first druivenbier (which is Flemish for grape beer ). In this collaboration, Therapy Vineyards offered up its best Pinot Gris grapes and Paul paired them with three Big Rock malts and Hallertau hops. The Big Rock difference in our 2014 offering comes from the pure honey added to this brew, sourced from our own bees at the brewery.
